Ideas into Action Day Held on Saturday 24th April 2010
Assembly Rooms, Dedham.
The Dedham Parish Plan public consultation day was a great success with over 100 attendees contributing almost 400 suggestions of things that could be done to help keep Dedham such a good place to live and work in and to visit.
The attendees included all ages and were from all parts of the village and, as well as providing their ideas for improvements, enjoyed an exhibition of Historical Pictures provided by Dedham Muniment Rooms and an excellent Photo Competition of Dedham in the Present Day. The Dedham Vale AONB & Stour Valley Project and the Rural Community Council of Essex also supported the day.
The output from the day will be displayed on this site once it has been collated and analysed.
The next phase of the Dedham Parish Plan process will be to seek input right across the community through a questionnaire based upon the prioritised outcome from this first public consultation day. The final stage, in about 12 months, will be the publication of the results and then the progressing of some of the suggestions.
